For Food Operators, whose production is above 100 kgs per day or turnover is above Rs. 12 lacs per annum

  • State Fssai Registration

For Food Operators, whose production is above 100 kgs per day or turnover is above Rs. 12 lacs per annum

Who requires FSSAI License?

All food operators may he be repackers, marketers, relabellers, manufacturer, importer or exporter, tiffin waala, whole seller, retailer, are required to take FSSAI License or registration compulsorily.

Process to get FSSAI License:

  1. Documents preparation
  2. Government Challan Payment
  3. Application filing
  4. Follow-up with department
  5. Reply to any objection raised by FSSAI department
  6. FSSAI license certificate is issued

Important Instructions for FBO:

  • Food Business Operator must get Food License.

  • If Food Business Operator is operating in more than 1 state, one additional Central License for Head Office is mandatory.

  • Importers are allowed to take one single central license at their Import Export Code registered address.
